Kontrakhukum Wins MPR Speaker's Cup at BSC Awards 2021

Contract Law won first place and was awarded the MPR Speaker’s Cup in the BSC Socio Digitechnopreneur Innovation Awards 2021 Competition.
The event initiated by the Brain Society Center (BS-Center) was attended by more than 100 startups from various leading digital business fields, ranging from tourism, legality services, halal industry, battery and electric car industry, fintech, waste management innovation, to the home food industry.

“Getting this award for us is a legitimization that what Kontrak Hukum is fighting for is really needed and has an impact on the nation.
I dedicate this award to every member of the Kontrak Hukum family who with enthusiasm continues to realize the vision of equal access to information and legal services for the community. Indonesia,” said Founder and CEO of Kontrak Hukum, Rieke Caroline.

Also attending and judging the event were MPR RI Chairman Bambang Soesatyo, Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno, Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) Commissioner Pandu Patria Sjahrir, BRI President Director Sunarso, IPB Rector Prof. Arif Satria, TVOne President Commissioner Anindya Bakrie and/or their representatives.
Bambang Soesatyo also revealed that this event is a form of appreciation for the efforts of socio-digitopreneurs for being able to move and grow the digital economy sector amid the downturn that hit the economic sector due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
“As of early March 2021, the number of startups in Indonesia reached 2,219 units, the fifth largest in the world. Of these, four of them are categorized as unicorns with a valuation of more than 1 million US dollars and one decacorn with a valuation of more than 10 million US dollars,” Bambang said during his remarks at the peak of the BSC Socio Digi Technopreneur Innovation Awards 2021 awarding ceremony.
The Law Contract itself along with other startup participants have gone through various stages since the competition registration on March 5, 2021, starting from Selection Stage I which selects the participants into 40 startups, Selection Stage II which selects the top 10, to Demo The Best Start Up Stage I and II which selects and narrows the participants to 3 start-ups.
At the peak ceremony held on April 11, Kontrak Hukum, Qlue Smart City, and 8Villages managed to become the three best startups, but the jury decided Kontrak Hukum as the first winner, followed by Qlue Smart City and 8Villages as the second and third winners.
Through this momentum, Kontrak Hukum hopes to continue to have a greater positive impact on the economy, social, and environment in Indonesia.
