Company Domicile Certificate or better known as SKDP is a letter that contains information about the official address while explaining the legal domicile of a company.
With SKDP, the company will be officially recognized as having a position in the location as stated in the SKDP.
Indirectly, the SKDP is like the identity of the company.
For information, SKDP is the authority of each local government so that each region has different rules in the SKDP service process.
Because it is the authority of the local government, currently several regions such as DKI Jakarta and Depok have eliminated SKDP services as a form of simplifying business licensing procedures.
Even so, some other regions still require companies to fulfill SKDP.
Not only that, SKDP is usually also one of the prerequisites needed and must be attached when taking care of other company legality documents, such as production permits, so SKDP remains one of the legality documents that must be fulfilled.
To obtain an SKDP, business actors can make an application through the PTSP in the city/regency where the business is domiciled.
Business actors will be asked to fill in the available forms by attaching other required documents.
The documents in question include:
- Identity of the applicant/person in charge.
- Power of attorney if the application is made through a proxy.
- Company documents, such as deeds of establishment and amendments, decree of approval of establishment and amendments issued by the authorized agency, and company NPWP.
- A statement of position/domicile stamped.
- Photographs of the company’s location from the front and outside/photocopy of IMB and its attachments.
- Proof of PBB payment for the last year.
- Proof of land ownership if privately owned, lease agreement for land or building, borrow-to-use agreement letter and statement letter on stamped paper in accordance with applicable regulations from the owner of the land or building stating no objection to the land or building being used.
The form and documents will then be examined by the officer.
If there is a lack of data/information and additional/improvement is required, the applicant must complete it first.
If needed, the officer will also conduct a site survey to verify and ensure that the data provided is correct and appropriate.
Based on the data and/or survey, the PTSP will issue an SKDP if the company has fulfilled all requirements.
The SKDP is valid for 5 years and can be extended with the same process and requirements.
However, the applicant must attach the previous original SKDP when applying for an extension.
