Indonesian Standard Field Classification (KBLI)
One of the requirements for a business actor to obtain a Business Identification Number (NIB) is to adjust the KBLI code.
The KBLI is a classification system for classifying business activities. Through KBLI, it will be easy to classify between different business activities.
This code consisting of 4-5 numbers determines the business field of a company and will be recorded in the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, which can then be used by the company when it wants to register its business license in NIB or deed.

- Didirikan setidaknya oleh dua orang atau lebih dan disahkan akta notaris dalam bahasa Indonesia

Can One NIB Contain Multiple KBLI?
Yes, selecting multiple KBLI types in a single business license is allowed.
What are the KBLIs that cannot be combined?
Not all types of business activities can be combined with other business activities or what is referred to as KBLI Single Purpose.
For example, KBLI 86103 (Private Hospital Activities), KBLI 52291 (Transportation Management Services (JPT)), and so on.
What if we get the KBLI wrong?
In accordance with the provisions of PP 5/2021, if the business actor incorrectly lists the KBLI number, the NIB application can be rejected, the impact is that the business license and operational license for the business entity to be established cannot also be submitted.
In fact, if the NIB has been received but the activities carried out are not in accordance with the chosen KBLI number, business actors may be subject to sanctions such as revocation of business licenses.
Can KBLI be removed?
Yes, you can. Business actors can do so through the Revocation or Cancellation Menu in the OSS system.
